EASTERN PETRO provides pressure testing facility up to 4000 bar with chart recording for pipe lines, BOP, umbilical’s, irons, oil suction hoses, water hoses, skids, pressure vessels, manifolds, air compressors & tanks.

A hydrostatic test helps to check pressure vessels such as pipe lines, cylinders and tanks for strength and leaks. The testing involves pressurizing a section of pipe with water to a much higher level than the pipe will ever operate with natural gas, and the test will validate the safe operating pressure of the pipelineusing recommended standards.


EASTERN PETRO has Spark testing facility up to 40 kV. A spark tester is used before and after a rubber lining is cured. The purpose of the test is todetect the presence of any pinhole leaks, punctures, cuts etc., that expose passages to base metal.


Positive Material Identification (PMI) is the analysis of the metallic alloy to establish its composition by percentage of its constituent elements. Typical methods for PMI include X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and optical emission spectrometry (OES). PMI helps our customers to choose the right materials for their application.
